About the token data

What is the WoW Token?

An item bought with real money in the Blizzard shop and sold on the auction house for gold. Buyers use gold to get it, then redeem it for game time or Battle.net balance.

How often does the price change?

Blizzard updates each region’s price roughly every 20 minutes, based on supply and demand. We read it on that schedule and chart hourly averages.

Why do regions differ so much?

Every region has its own economy and its own auction house. How much gold players hold and how many tokens are on sale sets each price.
